It’s true to say we’ve always had a passion for poultry.
We’ve been raising chickens since we were children, and by the time we were teenagers our Quail eggs had caught the eye of Chef Jamie Oliver and his Jamie’s Great Britain series. Our hobby continued to be our obsession, so we decided
to pour all that love and hands-on expertise into the foundations of The Cockerel House. Purveyors of poultry.
From edge of the mendip hills, overlooking the Somerset levels, we’re always perfecting our “Love of cluck”
And we’ve built up quite a few friends along the way - from veteran poultry keepers to rookie start ups, and most importantly local school kids, where our passion for poultry first started.
